Wurlitzer 150 Music Played on 105 Band Organ
By Vic Searle

Dear MMDers, I have an Internet friend who is building his own band
organ. I sold him a Wurlitzer 150 roll frame, pneumatic stack and
16 bells. He has sent me photos of his progress and I was horrified
to see that he has only 14 melody flutes and piccolos (piccoli?).
It seems that he got his plans from Alien Aircraft, supposedly for
a Wurlitzer 150 band organ.

I've built a dozen or so hybrid electronic organs using Wurlitzer
Style 125, 150 and 165 music roll frames but I'm not familiar with
the innards of a Wurlitzer 105 Band Organ, and I'm wondering what will
happen with a Style 150 music roll driving a Style 105 organ with less
than the requisite number of pipes.

My Internet friend has already built the entire chest and most of the
pipes, and it would be a shame to scrap all that and make a new chest.
Any advice you can give will be most appreciated. Thanks.
