Filler Problems in Player Action Stack
By Craig Roothoff

No doubt this issue will stir up some lively comment! In thirty plus
years of rebuilding players, it's never crossed my mind to use "Bondo"
in player restoration (or any wood application, for that matter).

I don't understand the need for it. A careful rebuilder can dismantle
a stack without causing damage to the deck boards, especially an Ampico
stack. The rare wood problem can be addressed with products intended
for wood. Try though I may to keep an open mind, I can only conclude
that this was a grotesquely incompetent job. Sounds like someone used
an axe to dismantle the stack!

The best way to solve this problem might be with a lawyer...
