Hi Everyone,  I just got off the phone with my good, good friend,
Don Rand, who is recutting some original A-rolls for me.  I told
him of the various people on MMD who are curious about Ed Openshaw's
plans to recut B.A.B. rolls and how these people are trying to get
in touch with him.

Don told me straight-away, "right from the horse's mouth," that if
anyone wishes to write Ed a letter he can be reached at the following

(And Ed does have 'Caller ID' service so he does screen his calls.)

Don talked to Ed as recently as three weeks ago, and Ed sounded
as if he was thinking about getting the Acme perforator running
again (although it's been 20 years since the perforator last ran).
Naturally it could use some tinkering but, as Don said, "Ed is more
than capable about fixing it up."

There you have it.  Send your cards and letters, candy, etc., to
Ed at the above postal address and you just might get an answer from
him about that B.A.B. roll project!
