Harmonipan: Brand Name or Generic?

I, too, was puzzled by the immediate equalization of Harmonipan = 
Hofbauer.

The "Piccolos" are actually "Pan Flutes" and -- apparently through
their harmonic sounds -- thus term the name "Harmonipan" for the
organs which sport them (including my Stueber organ, e.g.; albeit,
I'd not call my organ this way, anyways).

If the original poster, Donald Paul, is interested in building
a "Harmonipan" style organ, then there are two choices:

- Find out how organ Pan Flutes are constructed;

- Buy them (the pipes) from one of the manufacturers and include them
into your home-build.
