Stinson Band Organ at Griffith Park Carousel
By Justin Senneff

Dear Readers: The Stinson band organ at the Griffith Park Carousel in
Los Angeles is one of the most beautiful concert quality and unblemished
organs playing at a carousel in the country. This band organ was the
first exposure to mechanical music I have ever received -- I was five at
the time. I would like to know more about this particular instrument,
how many pipes and what kind? Those kind of questions.

I mean this truly. God bless Donald Stinson for his work on this organ.
Every time I go to the Griffith Park Carousel I see kids enjoying the
pants out of themselves (as well as the adults). I only wish that they
would have some sign explaining about the organ so they would know what
it is. I hope to work (or volunteer) at the carousel when I become of
age; only a couple years left.

Sincerely,
Justin Senneff
