Seek Location for R. Heilbuth Player Pipe Organ
By Timothy Tikker

Greetings, I recently reported [080530 MMDigest] that I own the larger
organ [with three player mechanisms] built by Robert Heilbuth (1912-2002)
of San Francisco, California, USA, and have had this organ in storage
in Southern California for the past five years.

The present location is no longer available, and I need to move the
organ this month. I had planned to move it to my current home in
Michigan, however it appears that this will now not be possible.

I was wondering if anyone on the list could think of a possible
location for the organ, ideally near its present storage location,
though of course not limited to that if need be. I could let the organ
be in a new location on loan for an agreed-upon length of time.

It needs some repair:

- electro-pneumatic chests may need releathering and rewiring --
there were several ciphers at the time the organ was dismantled;

- some rackboards need replacement due to woodworm damage;

- general cleaning is needed.

The organ otherwise appeared to be sound and intact.

A technical description of the organ is available online:

Note the links to the detailed stoplist and photos.

It would be best if the organ could be assembled rather than merely
stored again.  Any ideas?

Thanks!
Timothy Tikker
