Calculations for Xylophone Bars
By Robbie Rhodes

Gerald Wood writes of an editing error that occurred in his article
in 080628 MMDigest:

  Good afternoon,
With reference to the calculations for xylophone bars, the
original note I sent did not include brackets in the formulae
for calculating the lengths of the full depth end sections.
The article in today's Digest includes brackets but they are
incorrectly located and as a result the formula is wrong.
The corrected formula with brackets should be 0.5+(0.2242*L).
With regards to the table provided by Jack Breen in his article
  the dimensions shown are correct.

Please can you make a correction in the next Digest?

  Thanks and regards,
  Gerald Wood

Thanks for notifying us of the mistake, Gerald. MMDigest regrets
the error.
