Rebuilding Duo-Art Graduated Pneumatics
By Paul Camps

Hi All, Surely the reason for the graduated striker motors in the
Duo-Art grands was to compensate for the different weights of hammer
heads -- bigger motors in the bass end as the hammers there are larger,
ranging in staged sizes through to the treble end. This presumably
would mean that the power settings would be applied with the same force
throughout the range. Or have I missed the point? Just my six-penneth
for what it's worth. (That's inflation for you.)
