Facade for Ruth Organ at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
By John Kavanagh

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk people, in addition to Don Stinson who
is still restoring the organ, have told me the original facade for the
Ruth 38 B organ has long ago gone and disappeared. No one knows exactly
what happened to it. If anyone knows otherwise, please respond.

That is the reason Don has made a facade for his Stinson M2000 model
organs, to be used for the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Ruth organ. The
amusement park wanted it painted with scenes of the Boardwalk from 100
years ago. I am assuming the original case for the organ is being
replaced with a new one to match the new facade, and the pipes being
cleaned, re-tuned and replaced in the same ranks as they were before.

Many of us are waiting for the Ruth 38B to come home, back to California.
MMDers who live nearby and who check on things can alert us when the
Ruth comes back and is reinstalled.
