I'm very interested in all of the material on the Solo Carola player.
I have one of these players that is in working order and have over
the years collected about 40 rolls for it.  I posted details on the
MMD about six years back.

I have the instructions for the player on how to remove the action and
instructions to tuners and repairmen.  These were pinned onto the inside
of the fall board and I can copy these for anyone who is interested.

I think that when this system was discontinued after a few years a
number of the players were shipped out to Australia.  From people who
have contacted me over the years I think that most of them sent to
Australia had their Solo Carola mechanism removed.  I have heard of
two that are still substantially complete.

My player was found in the South Island of New Zealand back in the
1970s.  I am still collecting rolls for it.
