 [
[ Founded by Johann Heinrich Heller (1830-1906) fabrication probably
[ before 1866. Succeeded by his son, Heinrich Karl (Henry) Heller
[ (1855-1943) in 1883. On all major music boxes the signature
[ "JH Heller Bern" was stamped on the frame of the air-vane governor.
[ Musical works by Heller of all kinds have survived, including the
[ musical table with interchangeable cylinders. Other mechanical musical
[ instruments were also produced, such as barrel organs and orchestrions.
[ Probably in the 1890s production shifted more and more to fantasy
[ objects with music, such as beer glasses, Swiss cottages, musical
 [ chairs, etc.
