A neighbor's Ampico rolls became wet from water coming into his
storage area during the latest storm this week.  Knowing I have
a collection of them he is dropping off his wet rolls to me to see
what to do with them.  Are there any ideas on how to best dry them
out to rescue them?

 [ with "freeze drying", which actually is freezing the object and then
 [ placing the object in a vacuum chamber to remove the moisture by
