Robot Band Design
By Ben Waterbury

Recently I wrote an article about the possibility of replicating some
shaker chimes and a Uniphone. I would like to replicate these
instruments because these are two of the instruments I plan to have in
the robot band that I will build someday.

In addition to my shaker chimes robot, "Shimes," and my Uniphone robot,
"Uno," I'm planning to include other robots. Here is a list of just a
few:

    Jute-a: jazz flute organ
    Vibrone-a: vibratone organ
Huvox-a: vox humana robot (great for back-up chorus)
    Baxter-a: baxophone robot
Drummer units (what's a robot band without drums?)

I plan my band to play anything from classics like Bach and Beethoven
to modern rock songs, and everything in between. If anyone can offer
ideas or suggestions, please feel free to comment.
