Compressed Air Blasting
By Bill Chapman

Speaking of clean-up, I once was working on a very dirty and dusty
piano action. I took it to the local gas station that had compressed
air and asked the owner (a friend of mine) if I could use his air hose
to blow out the dirt. He was enthusiastic and changed the end fitting
to a small one that focused the air to quite a blast.

Not only did the cobwebs, dirt, and dust get blasted away, but the
hammers cleaned up like new. Since they were still soft, no
replacements were made.
