Kohler & Campbell Tom Thumb Piano Problem
By Scotty Greene

The DeBence Museum has recently received the donation of a Kohler &
Campbell Tom Thumb player piano. The serial number is unreadable, but
I am guessing it is of the 1940 vintage. It is in beautiful cosmetic
condition, but the player and piano parts both need work. About 50% of
the tuning pins won't hold, some of the pneumatics need re-covering,
and there are other areas that need attention; but we know how to take
care of those.

My problem is that I cannot figure out how to get the stack out. It
ought to be simple if you know how, but at the moment I am stumped.
Can someone please tell me where to look for whatever is holding it in
the piano?
