QRS Computer-controlled Perforator?

I noticed, while watching the YouTube video of QRS's roll-making
operation, that it appears that they used Apple II computers to both
edit the master and control the actual punching.  Does anyone have more
information on this?  Do the either the software or hardware still
exist?
