I have used liquid rubber solution to seal many parts.  The material
I have comes from the electric cable industry.  Granulated rubber is
dissolved in xylene and forms a solution.

I have a bit of the concentrated solution and xylene solvent.  What
I will do when it runs out is going to be a worry for me.
