Robert Morton Player Organs
By Timothy Tikker

The organ at my home church in San Francisco was a 1923 2-manual 8-rank
Robert Morton, originally from the Excelsior (later Granada) Theatre.
Most of the percussions were removed when it was installed in the
church.

An organ tuner who inspected the instrument c. 1981 told me that it
evidently originally also had a roll-player mechanism. This organ was
sold and broken-up for parts in the mid-1980s.
