Thanks for the great input MMDers;  I have listened to a few
Violanos in person.  When I was younger, I used to stand there and
dump coins into the Violano at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park,
California.  I was fascinated to watch the action and the mechanical
design.  It never sounded 'musical' to me, but I was still fascinated.
I have also listened to the Violano at the Nethercutt collection in
Sylmar, California.  It was just okay.

I still have not heard the best Violanos.  I can't wait to hear one in
excellent condition!  But I do think that a few of my wrinkles on my
face were caused by facial expressions when listening to out-of-tune
Violanos.
