In my opinion, the absolute best-sounding regular plain old single
violin home model Violano-Virtuoso (no bowfront, nothing fancy) is
one restored by Robert Loeffler in Florida.  When I first listened to
the videos he posted on YouTube, I literally could not believe my ears
because never in my life had I heard a Violano that sounded so good,
even one restored by a Violano specialist.

Now this probably sounds like a commercial plug for this restorer,
but I can assure you that it isn't.  I just think you folks should
check out the following videos and judge for yourself:
