Player Piano Value
By Paul Brennan

I'm in full agreement with David Oppenheim. If you are looking
to buy and sell player pianos for profit, you missed that boat by
about 80 years. The true value to the collector and admirers of
these instruments is never monetary -- it can't be, it costs too much
to restore properly and you know the expense can never be recouped.
You invest in these machines because of the sheer joy they bring to
everyone within foot or earshot.

If you buy one restored, then you know what you are willing to pay
for something that will never again be manufactured, yet is in
pristine working condition. I believe there are many buyers out there
willing and happy to pay a reasonable asking price.

Best regards,
