I have to wonder what kind of rolls were 608 and 699. I understand
they had Irish music on them, but were they Clark or Automatic 'A'
rolls?

The Seeburg B typically plays music from a style 'A' roll. Many of the
'A' rolls produced never had the nomenclature "A roll" on the labels,
whereas 'G' rolls and '4X' rolls usually had G or 4X in the number of
the roll.

On the label of many of the 'A' rolls produced was "for pianos Seeburg
A, B, C, E, F, K etc." But some did not -- Capital rolls, for instance,
did not have anything on the label to indicate for what model piano the
roll was made.

At some point in the future I will try to write a more detailed
description of the different roll labels and the type of rolls.
