To go back before the beginning of MBSI (in 1949), "The Curious
History of Music Boxes", written in 1942 by Roy Mosoriak, lists several
collections.  This book mentions familiar people such as Lloyd Kelley,
Glenn Heckert, Perry Ghere, and other less well known collectors.  Roy
Haning and Neil White should also be noted.
