"The Thunderer" March for Wurlitzer 150
By Matthew Caulfield

Neil Smith is trying to find John Philip Sousa's 1889 march,
"The Thunderer", arranged for the 150 scale. If you look at my
online catalog of style 150 rolls you will see that "The Thunderer"
was never issued by Wurlitzer or T.R.T on a style 150 roll. It was
arranged by David Stumpf for Louis May years ago.

That Louis May roll was issued by George Morley in Canada using the
perforator now owned by Mike Grant, and it was recut by Play-Rite.
But I suspect copies of that roll are hard to find today.

If you want a MIDI arrangement, which I guarantee will be better
than the Stumpf arrangement, contact San Diego arranger Rich Olsen
<richpoor@pacbell.net.geentroep> (delete .geentroep from the address).
He can do it for you, even in the style of Wurlitzer's style 165
arrangement, which is a great one.
