I just wanted to thank everyone who provided assistance, technical
help and opinions about the Regina and Mira musical boxes.  I am now
the proud owner of both pieces although I got caught up in auction
bidding and paid more than I can afford trying to get that special gift
for my wife of close to 40 years.  Now she has to decide on which to
keep, and I will be forced to sell the other.

As it turns out, the Mira worked today upon inspection; someone turned
the scroll work piece over on the interior, so it was not missing the
rollers and plate as I originally thought!  I am sure when I get these
home, I will have some specific repair questions.

But again I wanted to thank everyone.  The MMD site is a great resource
to obtain expert info in a short time!
