Plasticized Paper For Music Rolls
By Jim Crank

A few years ago, there was a sort of plasticized paper from Germany
that claimed to be super stable, punched as clean as anyone could ask
for, very hard to tear (almost impossible), would not fray on the sides
and was available in any quantity at a very reasonable price including
the shipping.

Forget the modern paper, it is lousy and nowhere as good as this
replacement was or is. I obtained some samples and it looked like for
once the claims were true. Some samples were sent to Nelson Barden for
his inspection and comments. Now, does anyone know who this was and
are they still in business??

Two new roll scanners are still available if anyone is serious. One
can go from close in to 17" width and comes with a new HP computer.
The other was for Duo-Art organ rolls only but would be simple to
convert to any roll format. MIDI output on both.
