How to Tune a Player Piano Out of Tune
By Nigel Perry

Winifred Atwell's 'other' piano went with her on tour. It had
that lovely honky tonk sound. Given the multiple removals from
venue to venue, how on earth did she keep it sounding the way it did?
Did it have to be regularly 'tuned' to create the effect, or was it
tuned normally, with just the inherent age, and wear and tear being
responsible for the sound?

Best wishes,
Nigel Perry
