Unknown Tunes Played by Debain Antiphonel
By Dale Dohler

In February I sent recordings of 11 tunes and a 4-part quadrille
played on our Debain harmonium with Antiphonel player. Of those,
the MMD readership has identified five:

- Tune 14 is the "Coronation March" from "Le Prophete" by Meyerbeer.

- The second part of the quadrille, tune 167-2F, is
  "I Vespri Siciliani" by Verdi.

- Tune 243 is the "Hunter's Chorus" from "Der Freischutz" by von Weber.

- Tune 269 is "Adio del Passatobei sogni ridenti" from La Traviata
  by Verdi.

- Tune 454 is the "Baden Baden Polka"

We thank all those who responded to our query. We've got only ten
to go!

Regards,
Dale Dohler
