A few days ago there was the question of using a household vacuum
cleaner for the tracker bar cleaner.  I just got my new vacuum gauge
in the mail, to test this out.  My vacuum cleaner pulls only 45" of
water suction, whereas the tracker bar pump pulled over 160".

Anyone worrying about sucking the life out of a worn pouch by using
a vacuum cleaner would be advised not to use a tracker bar pump as it
is much stronger (and is designed to be so).
