I was glad to see David Haibach's comments about the LP "Catch
the Brass Ring" on Klavier.  I loved that record, and found
a CD for sale including most tracks from both volumes.  But the
woman selling it tried to dissuade me -- she said it does not
sound like a merry-go-round, and was sure I would be disappointed.

I fear that many people are used to a shriller, more out-of-tune
effect than the rich sound of this recording.  It is like four
steak dinners!
