FS: Reproducing Pianos in Kansas
By Art Reblitz

Three reproducing pianos are for sale, all "as is," F.O.B. Arkansas
City, Kansas (south of Wichita):

1. Fischer Ampico spinet from Bill Pixley's estate, needs complete
restoration. $1,249.

2. Steinway XR, ser. no. 204,043, made in 1920, from Bill Pixley's
estate. Beautiful mahogany veneer, Temponamic knob, remote pump.
This was still like new and played well as late as the early 1970s,
but the piano and player now need complete restoration, including
refinishing. Asking $2,695.

3. Stroud Duo-Art upright, original finish. I restored the pump
and expression box in the 1970s; Bill Pixley and the current owner
recovered the stack pneumatics and other parts. It worked well in
the 1980s, but needs regulation and possibly other work; needs
keytops. $975.00.

Make an offer for a package deal.
