Source of Strings for Triola Zither
By Nicholas Simons

About fifteen years ago I restored a Triola and found a local bespoke
guitar string maker who was interested in producing a full set of
strings for me. He is able to make all the wound strings, including
the double wound ones.

He has probably still got the original stringing plan I gave him
with my order so should be able to produce a set without any new data.
Since that time he has made quite a few sets for other members of the
MBSGB.

He is very reasonable in price. His normal job is to make specialist
guitar strings for top-end professionals. His name is Malcom Newton
and he works from a small workshop in the Derbyshire town of Heanor.
