I recently purchased a Thorens AL 336 cylinder music box.  It should
play three tunes: "Brahms Lullaby", "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" and
"I Love You Truly".

The box is in pretty good shape but it won't automatically switch
between tunes.  By moving a small cog on the right side of the largest
gear (great wheel?), I can get all three tunes to play, but it doesn't
happen automatically when the box is wound.

This is my first Thorens music box that plays multiple tunes, so
I'm not sure if this is a problem in the music box movement, or maybe
I just don't understand how to make it work properly.  I've searched
in the MMD Archives, but only found a few vague references to this
problem.  I've always loved music boxes, but only recently have started
to collect them, so any information you can give me about the Thorens
AL 336 would be greatly appreciated.
