Hi Robert, I'm wondering why you're calling the box a Nicole Freres to
start with. Do you have a tune card that states that?

Regardless of the name of the manufacturer, this movement has obviously
seen some bad times. From the pictures, I see:

1. the cylinder will doubtless need repinning -- with so much rust and
so many bent pins, they'll break off when you try to straighten them;

2. the cylinder drive pin has been pulled out of its threads and is
coated in rust(?) or cylinder pitch(?) (it takes quite a jolt to do
that!);

3. there are no pictures of the governor, so I don't know if that's
missing; the pictures don't show if all the bell linkages are there.

4. there are no picture of the case, which also plays a part in valuing
something.

What's the value of it? It's a "project box", not worth much in the
marketplace, but worth whatever it's worth to you as a fixer-upper.
