It seems to me that some clever person on this list ought to be
able to come up with a "retrofit adapter kit" for at least Ampico
and Duo-Art grand motors, so as to replace the old and potentially
dangerous ones with newer, smaller, quieter and cooler versions of
similar horsepower and speed. (And also maybe nice, velvet-lined,
glass-covered display boxes, to put the old original motors "to bed"
in, for the nearby visual enjoyment of their aesthetic appeal!)
