Greetings from Upstate New York (I am presently at my sister's home,
recuperating from a heart attack).  Regarding Ampico coded rolls
issued by AMR (Frank Adams), the coding was most likely done by Bill
Flynt who also had rolls produced by Play-Rite at or about the same
time.  At at least one AMICA convention he had done a workshop on the
process of editing 88-note rolls into Ampico rolls.  This was around
the late 1970s.  Hope this helps.
