Regina Musical Box Discs at Antique Shop
By David Fowler

I am new to the group and am rebuilding a Pratt Read player style 72.
I am a retired engineer and just needed something to keep me thinking.
I cannot play a piano but I had a sister that took lessons for, I think,
11 years. I just love the old mechanical things and love working on
them. I have the piano finished and ready to tune and am now working
on the player. John Tuttle has been a great help and always gives me
great answers to my sometimes dumb questions.

While searching some of our local antique shops I found some Regina
music box discs from turn of the century, 12 discs in total. They
are marked $24.95 each but I am sure the shop will drop the price.
I bought some player rolls that were marked for $6.00 and got them for
$2.00 each. The discs are at another booth but everyone works with
the price.

I took some high resolution pictures of the discs. I just thought that
someone out there is looking everywhere for them and I saw them on eBay
selling for much more.

Thanks and have a great day,

David F. Fowler
