"La Mattchiche", also known as "La Sorella", was indirectly featured in
a movie musical from 1947.  The movie was called "Mother Wore Tights",
starring Dan Dailey and Betty Grable.  They played a pair of 'hoofers'
that eventually marry and raise a family.

Wanting the best for their children, they book a vacation at a rather
stuffy resort, filled with rather snooty clientele.  The younger
daughter befriends an elderly pensioner, and later sings her 'Chewing
Gum Song', to the tune in question.
