Happy New Year everybody!  That being said, all readers posting
messages should try to be polite.  If you think a technique is
"ridiculous," please do not use those words in your response.
A positive suggestion will be much more effective.

Please remember that the "right way" and the "wrong way" is
frequently a matter of opinion.  Nobody knows for sure what the
designers intended back in 1910, so we must depend on a consensus
of opinions in many cases.
