I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Franz Oehrlein.  Last
year I was lucky enough to find a piece made my him in New Zealand.
I was also so privileged to be able to make contact with him through
his wife, who provided me with wonderful information about the piece.

I was able to contact him by referring to the article by Philippe
Rouille and contacting him.  He had been in touch with me a few years
ago about another matter.  Unfortunately, at that time Philippe was
very ill but he gave me Franz' contact number.

I am so pleased to be able to have a piece of this incredible persons
work in my collection.

I am away from home thus the delay in sending my condolences to the
family.
