Seek Boxes for Skinner Organ Rolls
By Raymond Brunner

I am looking for boxes for my Skinner player organ rolls. The
standard small box is slightly too small, as the flanges on Skinner
rolls are 2-1/4" in diameter. The length of the organ rolls is
12-1/4" with the pin ends, so a standard length piano roll box will
work. Does anyone make boxes that are 2-1/4" by 2-1/4" inside or
slightly larger? I could use 100 or more, as most of the original
boxes are gone.

Has anyone recut Skinner organ rolls? They used a very small
punching with 12 holes-to-the-inch spacing on the tracker bar. Most
of my rolls are the earlier green label semi-automatic Skinner rolls
and I would like to have more of the fully automatic blue label rolls,
as the organ (Opus 675, 1927) plays both kinds of rolls. The console
will be connected to a MIDI interface, so if anyone has made MIDI files
of Skinner rolls, please let me know. Thanks.
