I'm working on rebuilding an Ampico "A" stack and came across some
calculations on the inside of the edge board of the primary valve
chest.  The calculations were under the cork gasket and were done
before the glue and gasket were applied. The stack is from a Fischer
grand circa 1925.

The calculation is 33 x 38 = 1254.  I am wondering whether this has
any significance or whether it is just a random doodle?
