Philip Jamison says "insure" but I recommend, even more importantly,
"hire someone like Philip."  There are several specialist piano movers,
and they are well known to certain of the people who hang out here on
MMD.  Ask here for recommendations before you commit to a move that you
are not doing by yourself.  (I use my own horse trailer, and lots of
padding, for my own pianos.  I am not for hire!)
