Wagner "Ring Cycle" on Piano Rolls
By Mark Williamson

Just out of idle curiosity, I wonder if anyone ever released Wagner's
complete Ring Cycle [Der Ring des Nibelungen] on piano roll. The
"cycle" consists of four operas: "Das Rheingold (The Rhine Gold)",
"Die Walküre (The Valkyrie)", "Siegfried" and "Götterdämmerung
(Twilight of the Gods)" -- about 15 hours playing time in total!

I'm guessing that it may have been released on one of the Welte
formats.
