For sale: I have personally visited with a gentleman in Charleston,
South Carolina, who has an unmolested, unrestored, 1927 five foot long
Marshall and Wendell Ampico "A" mahogany baby grand that was purchased
by his grandfather (in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), new in 1927.  It will
need normal player and some piano restoration.  The case could stand
refinishing, but not absolutely necessary.  Ivories are perfect.

He is asking $ 1,200, including the matching bench and approximately
35 original Ampico rolls.  He would like it to go to someone who will
restore it and not remove the Ampico for resale.  He no longer has the

home for his piano.
