Seek Duo-Art Roll 104755 "Trees"
By Bruce Grimes

Our mom just passed away; cancer -- she could hardly wait to go.
One of our last things was when I rolled her down the hall, she
looked out a pine tree, remarked at its beauty, and began to sing:

"I think I shall never see a poem so pretty as a tree".

We sang it quietly together several times. Okay, it's not a great
piece of music, but under the circumstances it is special to us.
I have a copy of it here, which is now next to "When I Grow Too Old
To Dream", a roll my own mom and I used to sing together when I was
a kid. Now and then I play it and cry. Now I have the two together
and they bring back rich memories.

"When I grow to old to dream, I'll have you to remember,
"When I grow to old to dream, Your love will live in my heart."

Our brother has a Duo-Art, and I want to send him a copy of "Trees",
Duo-Art 104755.
