History of 49-key Limonaire Organ in Wichita
By Mike Schoeppner

We are trying to establish a manufacture date and the early history
of Limonaire serial number 3404. What we know of its history is that
it was owned by a Florida collector sometime in the 1980s or before,
and was sold to a Wichita collector by a dealer sometime before 1990.
In the sale, the seller was not disclosed to the buyer.

It is a 49-key instrument, and seems to have one or two extra ranks
of pipes compared to some other 49-key examples. It has a rank of
brass clarinets across the front and the piccolos are down between
the trumpets and violins. The facade is pink, which is said to be
the original color, although it had many layers of paint in the 1980s
before restoration. The photo was taken at the COAA rally at Como Park
in August 2014.

Any information you could share would be greatly appreciated.
