for information about the Duo-Art he is restoring [140929 MMDigest].

Also, since the Duo-Art system was installed in many different
makes and sizes of pianos, and since the system itself was almost
constantly being 'improved' (during the years it was in production),
it would be impossible to put together a comprehensive list of the
sizes and lengths of tubing required to restore a specific instrument.

The proper way to approach the situation is to start with the largest
tubes and estimate the lengths required.  Then, by process of
elimination, list each of the smaller sizes and estimate the amount
required for each size.

Also, remember to always measure the outside diameter (OD) of the
fitting, not the inside diameter (ID) of the tubing.  All player
piano [rubber] tubing is specifically undersized to that it will fit
correctly.  For example, 3/4" ID tubing will fit properly on a 3/4" OD
fitting without the need for hose clamps or adhesives.
