Recutting Piano Rolls of World War One Tunes
By Kevin McElhone

Following on from the successful Musical Box Society G.B. event at
Stow Maries, the last World War One airfield here in the UK, I am
thinking about having some 88-note player piano rolls recut which are
well-known tunes from the period of the First World War, 1914-1918.

I have a few suggestions and indeed have access to copies of the rolls
marked * below which can be therefore be scanned in and re-cut.
If you might be interested in some of these titles, or indeed have
other suggestions or can offer rolls for scanning do contact me.

At this stage there is likely to be a maximum of eight copies available
of any title so please contact me soon so that I know if the project is
viable or not.

Many thanks,
Kevin McElhone
