NAWCC Mechanical Music Symposium Oct. 22-24, 2015
By Craig Smith

Hi folks, I gave a presentation on restoring a flute clock at the
NAWCC Regional Meeting this weekend. Afterwards, someone mentioned
that the NAWCC was having a symposium on mechanical music which
includes musical clocks. The meeting is October 22nd - 24th in
Houston, Texas, and you don't have to be a member of NAWCC to attend.
I'll send the official flyer as an attachment but I have copied off the
text below for your convenience.

You might recall that almost 20 years ago, a similar NAWCC conference
addressed "The Quest for Longitude" and it resulted in a 400+ page book
and two television series. The contact page is at

They are also having tours of a couple outstanding collections.

Regards,
Craig Smith
